In fact, Tathagata is not the only one who loves money, and Maitreya Buddha is no exception.

Maitreya Buddha subdued the Yellow-browed Old Buddha and asked him where my golden cymbal was.
The old Buddha said that he was broken by Monkey King.
Maitreya Buddha said that if the cymbal is broken, I will return the gold.
Then he restored a pile of broken gold into a pair of golden cymbals and walked away with a smile.
Or some people say, why do these gods and Buddhas love money, can't they live without money?
In fact, these Buddhas and Taoists can live without money, but thousands of monks and Taoists cannot live without money.
Therefore, Anuojiaye said that if the scriptures are handed down to the next generation, the descendants will starve to death.
The Tathagata endorsed the two, the scriptures should not be passed on lightly, nor should they be taken in vain.
Look down on monks?
